Highlander School of Golf was formed by two brothers Craig and Les Ross with the focus on easy and simple online golf instruction for beginners.

Craig Ross
Craig has 43 years of experience as a Member of the PGA as both a touring professional in the South African Sunshine circuit and the Scottish Tartan circuit, as well as a recognized teaching professional at some of the top golf courses in South Africa.
He was recognized as being in the top 20 teaching pros from 1993 through 1998 and achieved the highest recognition of South African Professional of the Year in 2000.
He was an active member of the South African PGA board for 1998 through 2012 during which time he was the PGA Chairman from 2002 through 2012.
Craig has over 7 years of online teaching experience having assisted thousands of clients of differing abilities.
His teaching techniques have helped golfers who were tour players, to assisting beginner golfers achieve the basic fundamentals of the swing.
Les Ross
Les Ross the “Golf Mechanic” is the director of golf at Highlander School of Golf.
He is not your typical golf instructor. In fact, he is a mechanical engineer who has been studying and playing golf for over 40 years.
Les is a professional teacher having trained hundreds of people to perform complex technical tasks in the engineering world which he applies to our fundamental lessons– a fresh thinking approach to the game of golf that is not overwhelmed by complex analysis but focuses on what is necessary for a simple, yet effective swing.
Les is the author of several golf e-books that have helped many golfers understand the mechanics and simple physics of the swing that allow them to apply this knowledge to achieving better performance and consistency in their game.
