Wrist Hinge Technique

Starts after the takeaway

The wrist hinge begins after the club has moved past the trail knee.

Wrists cock 90 Degree

The lead wrist begins to hinge vertically as the lead arm moves upwards in the body turn. Try to hinge the wrist to 90 degrees if physically possible.

Avoid rotating your wrist by feeling your lead thumb and club shaft is pointing skywards.

Maintain Constant Hinge Angle

Keep the tension in your wrist to a minimum without losing your grip. This will help achieve a smooth backswing.
